- 1 cup All-purpose flour

- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Melted butter
- 1 cup Sliced strawberries
- Butter or oil for cooking, As needed
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until evenly mixed.
- Whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; it’s okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.
- Fold in the sliced strawberries gently to ensure they are evenly distributed.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease it with butter or oil. Once hot, pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Serve warm with additional strawberries and syrup if desired.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes. Let the batter rest for a few minutes for better results.
