Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Melted butter
  • 1 cup Sliced strawberries
  • Butter or oil for cooking, As needed

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until evenly mixed.
  2. Whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; it’s okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.
  4. Fold in the sliced strawberries gently to ensure they are evenly distributed.
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease it with butter or oil. Once hot, pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Serve warm with additional strawberries and syrup if desired.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes. Let the batter rest for a few minutes for better results.
