- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1½ cups chocolate chips
- Ice cream & caramel (optional, to serve)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt gently until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Press the dough into a greased 9-inch pie dish evenly.
- Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is still slightly soft.
- Allow cooling for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Don’t overbake for a gooey center. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes to enhance flavor and texture.
