  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1½ cups chocolate chips
  • Ice cream & caramel (optional, to serve)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt gently until just incorporated.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Press the dough into a greased 9-inch pie dish evenly.
  7. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is still slightly soft.
  8. Allow cooling for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Don’t overbake for a gooey center. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes to enhance flavor and texture.
