Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup Grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Mixed fresh or dried herbs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a small cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, allowing it to warm before adding ingredients.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet, sautéing until tender and the garlic becomes fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the sautéed garlic and mushrooms.
  5. Mix in grated cheese and herbs, stirring to combine while adding a splash of reserved pasta water for desired sauce consistency.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot, garnished with extra cheese or herbs if desired.

Notes

Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency. Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
