- Key lime zest for garnish, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sour cream, key lime juice, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until just incorporated, ensuring the mixture remains light and airy.
- In another bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, mixing until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- In serving jars, layer the graham cracker mixture and the cheesecake filling alternately, starting with the crumb layer.
- Repeat the layers until the jars are full, finishing with the cheesecake layer on top.
- Top with key lime zest for garnish before chilling.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
