Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Key lime juice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • Key lime zest for garnish, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sour cream, key lime juice, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until just incorporated, ensuring the mixture remains light and airy.
  4. In another bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, mixing until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  5. In serving jars, layer the graham cracker mixture and the cheesecake filling alternately, starting with the crumb layer.
  6. Repeat the layers until the jars are full, finishing with the cheesecake layer on top.
  7. Top with key lime zest for garnish before chilling.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
