A creamy, flavorful appetizer combining tangy Greek feta and yogurt with a zesty kick from lemon and chili flakes, topped with crunchy pistachios.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

  • Greek feta cheese, 8 oz (220 g)
  • Greek strained yogurt, ¾ cup
  • Lemon (juiced and zested), 1
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons (plus more for serving)
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes, 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a large food processor, combine the Greek feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, half of the lemon zest, olive oil, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stop to scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed to ensure everything is well incorporated.
  3. Transfer the dip to a serving plate or shallow bowl. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil.
  4. Top with the remaining lemon zest, chili flakes, chopped mint, basil, and pistachios for added flavor and texture.
  5. Serve with pita bread, baguette slices, or your choice of fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

Use high-quality feta for the best flavor. Chill before serving to enhance its flavors and texture.
