A delightful and easy-to-make taco salad loaded with seasoned ground turkey, fresh vegetables, and crunchy Doritos.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Doritos
  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 can Black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional) as desired

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside to cool.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the ground turkey and follow the package instructions to prepare the filling. Set aside to cool.
  3. Combine black beans, corn, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Gently crush some Doritos and add them to the bowl for crunch.
  5. Add the cooled turkey mixture to the bowl and toss everything together until mixed well.
  6. Serve the salad with salsa and sour cream on the side, topped with jalapeños if desired.

Notes

Mix the Doritos in last to keep them crunchy. Customize toppings as desired.
