Instructions
- Pour 4 cups of water into a pitcher or a large jar.
- Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds into the water. Stir gently to ensure the seeds are evenly distributed.
- Squeeze in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon or lime juice. If you’re opting for the optional sweetener, add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup at this stage.
- Let this mixture sit for about 10–15 minutes or refrigerate overnight for the best texture. Stir again before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating a sprig of fresh mint or substituting maple syrup with honey. Serve chilled for maximum refreshment.
