Ingredients
Scale
- 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
- ½ cup Tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup Fresh basil, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette, as needed
Instructions
- Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, ensuring a clean area of about ¼ inch at the edge.
- Sprinkle the chopped tomatoes evenly over the layer of cheese, distributing them as you go.
- Add the chopped fresh basil evenly across the top for added flavor and a pop of color.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the entire plate, being careful not to overwhelm the dip as a little goes a long way.
- Serve the dip immediately with pita chips, crackers, or use it as a spread on thinly sliced baguette.
Notes
Let the dip sit for a few minutes to allow flavors to meld. For a tangy twist, swap out soft cheese for goat cheese.
