Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Pizza dough
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp Balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness, about 12 inches in diameter.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a piece of parchment paper to make it easier to move.
- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the base of the pizza dough.
- Distribute the blackberries over the ricotta layer, allowing some to be nestled into the cheese.
- Tear the fresh basil leaves and scatter them on top, adding them to taste.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top for extra flavor, and season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Transfer the pizza (with parchment paper) to the hot pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle balsamic glaze over the top before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Swap ricotta with goat cheese for a tangy flavor.
