These Banana Oatmeal Bars are a delightful blend of convenience and flavor. Made with ripe bananas and wholesome oats, they make a healthy snack or breakfast alternative that’s easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk (or Milk of Choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Nuts or Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup (if using), almond milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined. Fold in any nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until set and lightly golden on top.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares or rectangles.

Notes

Store any uneaten bars in an airtight container for up to a week.
