Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth (3 to 4 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. Let cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
