- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 2 cups Mushrooms (finely chopped)
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh thyme (chopped)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Egg wash (or plant-based alternative)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large pan over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until moisture evaporates (7-10 minutes).
- Stir in the breadcrumbs, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place the mushroom mixture in the center. Fold and seal the edges tightly.
- Brush the top with an egg wash or plant-based alternative. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free puff pastry and breadcrumbs.
