Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 2 cups Mushrooms (finely chopped)
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh thyme (chopped)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Egg wash (or plant-based alternative)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until moisture evaporates (7-10 minutes).
  3. Stir in the breadcrumbs, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place the mushroom mixture in the center. Fold and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Brush the top with an egg wash or plant-based alternative. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
