Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 sliced bell pepper
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets and sliced bell pepper and stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Next, add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stir everything together, cooking for just another minute until well combined.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicy kick, toss in some red pepper flakes. This stir fry pairs well with brown rice or whole grain noodles.
