- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 cup Dark chocolate (melted)
- 1 package Ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup Fresh strawberries (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, melted dark chocolate, and vanilla extract. Whip together until smooth and well integrated.
- In your chosen serving dish, lay a single layer of ladyfinger cookies at the bottom. Spread half of your chocolate mixture evenly over the layer of ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of cookies, finishing with the remaining chocolate mixture on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight. Before serving, top generously with fresh strawberries.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free ladyfingers or mini meringues. For a dairy-free version, substitute plant-based whipped topping and a vegan mascarpone alternative.
