Instructions
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese filling on one slice of bread and place another slice on top, creating a sandwich. Repeat until all slices are assembled.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, and cinnamon. Heat a skillet and melt butter.
- Dip each sandwich into the custard mixture and cook in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, extra strawberries, and whipped cream if desired.
Notes
