Indulge in the divine taste of homemade Strawberry Puff Pastry Danishes, featuring a creamy filling and sweet strawberry jam, all wrapped in crispy pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Strawberry jam
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4×4 inch squares.
  3. In the center of each square, place a teaspoon of softened cream cheese and a teaspoon of strawberry jam. Fold corners of pastry square to the center and pinch to seal.
  4. Brush the tops with a beaten egg and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden and puffed.

Notes

These pastries can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for up to two days.
