Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk (or your choice of dairy-free alternative), unsweetened cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, turmeric, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
