Delicious, crispy Brussels sprout tots that are a healthy alternative to traditional potato tots. Perfect for kids and adults alike!

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1 large egg (optional, beaten)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chopped Brussels sprouts and sauté for about 10-15 minutes until tender and slightly crispy. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Let the sautéed Brussels sprouts cool, then mix with grated cheese and breadcrumbs (if using). Form into small tots and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different cheeses or spices. You can make a vegan version by omitting egg and cheese.
