- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 8 ounces Mushrooms (Button or cremini)
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter (or plant-based butter)
- 2 tablespoons Liquid Aminos/Soy Sauce
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by washing the asparagus under cool running water. Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped asparagus and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and continue sautéing for another 5 minutes until tender. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the liquid aminos or soy sauce, along with salt and pepper, and stir everything together for another 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm.
Notes
Don’t overcook the asparagus and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
