  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms (Button or cremini)
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (or plant-based butter)
  • 2 tablespoons Liquid Aminos/Soy Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing the asparagus under cool running water. Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped asparagus and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the mushrooms and continue sautéing for another 5 minutes until tender. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the liquid aminos or soy sauce, along with salt and pepper, and stir everything together for another 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overcook the asparagus and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
