Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, warm milk, and vanilla extract. Combine with the dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough, roll it out into a rectangle, mix in crushed raspberries, roll tightly, and seal the ends.
- Place the rolled dough in a greased loaf pan. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Notes
