- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Whole pecans for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Melt unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and optional cinnamon; stir until bubbling.
- Mix in chopped pecans and coat evenly; remove from heat.
- Spoon filling onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll from the wide end, tucking in the filling as you go.
- Top with more filling and press a whole pecan on top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a variation, try adding dried fruit or chocolate chips to the filling. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
