  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

  • Ripe peaches – 4
  • Puff pastry – 1 package
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Ground cardamom – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Orange blossom syrup – 1/4 cup
  • Toasted pistachios – 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Edible rose petals (for garnish) – As needed
  • Flour (for dusting) – As needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Briefly blanch the peaches in boiling water for about 30 seconds, then transfer them to an ice bath to cool. Peel and pit the peaches.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares. Place a peach in the center, sprinkle with sugar and cardamom, wrap the pastry around it, and seal the edges.
  3. Place the wrapped dumplings on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with orange blossom syrup, then top with toasted pistachios and edible rose petals before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap out the peaches for seasonal fruits like pears or plums. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free puff pastry.
