- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- Crushed candy canes (for topping), to taste
- Red and green sprinkles (for topping), to taste
- Mini chocolate chips (optional, for topping), to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by mixing crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan and chill for 15 minutes.
- Create the cream cheese layer by beating cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in whipped topping. Spread over the crust.
- Make the pudding layer by whisking chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Pour over the cream cheese layer and smooth it out. Top with remaining whipped topping.
- Chill for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set.
- Before serving, sprinkle with crushed candy canes, sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips as desired.
Notes
This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For a healthier version, use sugar-free pudding and low-fat cream cheese.
