Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until fully combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking dish to form a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before pouring the caramel sauce over the crust.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the caramel layer, spreading it evenly.
  5. Allow the bars to set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free version, swap regular flour with almond flour or gluten-free flour blends. Serve alongside whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra decadent experience.
