This delightful Mango Iced Tea offers the perfect blend of sweet mango and refreshing tea, making it the ideal drink for warm evenings or casual gatherings.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove the saucepan from heat and add the tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in sugar while the tea is still warm until dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  4. Blend the diced mango into a smooth puree, adding a splash of water if necessary. Strain using a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  5. Mix the cooled tea with the mango puree thoroughly. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Pour the Mango Iced Tea into glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Adjust sugar to taste based on the ripeness of the mangoes. For a healthier option, use honey instead of sugar.
