A refreshing iced beverage that combines the warm spices of chai with sweet cherry notes, perfect for hot days.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1/4 cup cherry juice or cherry syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (optional)
  • Ice, as needed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for cold foam)
  • 2 tablespoons cherry syrup (for cold foam)

Instructions

  1. Brew the chai tea in a mug by steeping one chai tea bag in a cup of hot water for about five minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the cherry cream cold foam by whipping the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold in the cherry syrup.
  3. Combine the brewed chai with cherry juice or syrup in a glass. Sweeten if desired, fill with ice, and top with the cherry cream cold foam.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; whipped cream foam should be made just before serving. For a stronger chai flavor, double the number of tea bags.
