Homemade Peach Iced Tea

A refreshing drink combining black tea with the natural sweetness of ripe peaches, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 Black tea bags
  • 2 Ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Mint leaves (optional), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and add the sugar, stirring until dissolved. Allow to cool.
  4. Puree the sliced peaches until smooth and strain through a fine sieve to extract the juice.
  5. Mix the peach juice with the cooled tea and serve over ice, garnishing with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for maximum flavor. Adjust sweetness with honey or agave if desired.
