Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until you have a smooth mixture.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the mix. Stir until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before using a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut them into shapes.
