Spooky and fun dessert cups with layers of creamy chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and gummy worms, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 package (4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 18 chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed)
  • 8 decorated oval-shaped chocolate cookies/biscuits
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • Gummy worms (as desired)
  • Black decorating gel/edible marker (for decoration)
  • Optional: Green sprinkles/dyed shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes until smooth and thick. Allow it to set for 5 minutes.
  2. Evenly divide the pudding into 8 small clear cups or jars.
  3. Layer crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on top of the pudding to create a ‘dirt’ effect.
  4. Decorate oval-shaped cookies with black gel or edible markers and insert them into the pudding cups as gravestones.
  5. Top each cup with gummy worms and a dollop of whipped cream. Optionally, add green sprinkles or dyed shredded coconut.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve to enhance flavors.

Notes

These dessert cups can be made a day in advance. For a healthier twist, use almond milk and sugar-free pudding mixes.
