- 3 cups cold whole milk
- 1 package (4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 18 chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed)
- 8 decorated oval-shaped chocolate cookies/biscuits
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- Gummy worms (as desired)
- Black decorating gel/edible marker (for decoration)
- Optional: Green sprinkles/dyed shredded coconut
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes until smooth and thick. Allow it to set for 5 minutes.
- Evenly divide the pudding into 8 small clear cups or jars.
- Layer crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on top of the pudding to create a ‘dirt’ effect.
- Decorate oval-shaped cookies with black gel or edible markers and insert them into the pudding cups as gravestones.
- Top each cup with gummy worms and a dollop of whipped cream. Optionally, add green sprinkles or dyed shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve to enhance flavors.
Notes
These dessert cups can be made a day in advance. For a healthier twist, use almond milk and sugar-free pudding mixes.
