  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and packed brown sugar until smooth and fluffy for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder, then gradually mix into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and centers are set.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
