A quick and healthy pasta dish featuring broccoli, garlic, and olive oil, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta of choice
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes).
  3. 3-4 minutes before pasta is done, toss in broccoli florets.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
  5. Drain pasta and broccoli, then transfer to the skillet. Toss everything together and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
