Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 sheet Gluten-Free Puff Pastry (defrosted)
  • 1 Large Egg (beaten for egg wash)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon Milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Unroll gluten-free puff pastry on a clean surface, cut into 6 equal rectangles.
  4. Prick the centers of each pastry with a fork.
  5. Spread the cream cheese filling in the center of each pastry.
  6. Brush the edges with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and mix powdered sugar with milk for glaze.
  9. Pipe glaze over danishes and serve.
