- 500g Potatoes, steamed
- 50g Cornstarch
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Oil for brushing, as needed
- Chili Powder (for serving), to taste
- Chopped Parsley (for serving), as needed
- Ketchup (for serving), to taste
Instructions
- Steam the potatoes until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Once cooled slightly, mash the potatoes until smooth. Mix in salt, black pepper, and cornstarch to form a non-sticky dough.
- Divide the dough into portions of about 20g each and roll into balls. Set on a parchment-lined baking tray and brush lightly with oil.
- Bake in an oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or air fry at 170°C for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Finish with a sprinkle of chili powder and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with tangy ketchup, fresh herbs, or a spicy mayo for extra flavor. These balls keep well for later and taste even better the next day!
