These Crispy Potato Balls are the ultimate low-fat treat made from just two potatoes, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g Potatoes, steamed
  • 50g Cornstarch
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • Oil for brushing, as needed
  • Chili Powder (for serving), to taste
  • Chopped Parsley (for serving), as needed
  • Ketchup (for serving), to taste

Instructions

  1. Steam the potatoes until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Once cooled slightly, mash the potatoes until smooth. Mix in salt, black pepper, and cornstarch to form a non-sticky dough.
  3. Divide the dough into portions of about 20g each and roll into balls. Set on a parchment-lined baking tray and brush lightly with oil.
  4. Bake in an oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or air fry at 170°C for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Finish with a sprinkle of chili powder and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with tangy ketchup, fresh herbs, or a spicy mayo for extra flavor. These balls keep well for later and taste even better the next day!
