Ingredients
Scale
- 3 Ripe Bananas
- 1/3 cup Melted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- Pinch of Salt
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 large Egg, Beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Mix in the flour gradually until just combined; do not overmix.
- In a separate bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and brown sugar for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Add the remaining batter, smoothing it out gently.
- Swirl a knife through the batter to create a marbled effect.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top before baking.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for extra sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
