  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. In a separate cup, combine the milk and vanilla. Pour this liquid mix into the flour mixture and stir until it forms a soft dough.
  4. Lightly flour your countertop and spread the dough into a 10-inch log. Cut this log into about 20 small bite-sized pieces.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon. Toss your dough pieces in melted butter first, then coat them with the cinnamon sugar mix.
  6. Lay the coated pieces flat in the prepared loaf pan and bake for 9-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While the bites are cooling slightly, mix powdered sugar, a little milk, and vanilla to create a glaze. Drizzle this over your warm bites.
