Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In a separate cup, combine the milk and vanilla. Pour this liquid mix into the flour mixture and stir until it forms a soft dough.
- Lightly flour your countertop and spread the dough into a 10-inch log. Cut this log into about 20 small bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon. Toss your dough pieces in melted butter first, then coat them with the cinnamon sugar mix.
- Lay the coated pieces flat in the prepared loaf pan and bake for 9-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the bites are cooling slightly, mix powdered sugar, a little milk, and vanilla to create a glaze. Drizzle this over your warm bites.
Notes
Don’t overwork the dough and make sure to glaze the bites after baking for maximum flavor.
