A delightful blend of warm spices and sweet applesauce that creates a moist, tender loaf.

  • Total Time: 75 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine applesauce, both types of sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until everything is blended.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until no flour streaks remain.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use fresh spices for maximum flavor. You can substitute coconut oil for vegetable oil.
