- 8 ounces Dark or milk chocolate
- 4 ounces White chocolate (optional)
- Sprinkles or nuts (optional), as desired
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water, and then dry them completely with paper towels.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in short bursts, stirring in between, or use a double boiler method.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, holding it by the stem, and allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
- Place the dipped strawberries onto a parchment-lined tray, ensuring they don’t touch.
- If desired, melt white chocolate and drizzle over the dipped strawberries, then sprinkle with toppings.
- Refrigerate the strawberries until the chocolate has hardened, usually about 15-30 minutes, then serve and enjoy.
Notes
Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to avoid chocolate seizing. Use quality chocolate for best results.
