- 1 tablespoon Baking powder

- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Large egg
- 2 tablespoons Melted butter
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stir gently to combine.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Mix brewed espresso with powdered sugar for the glaze and drizzle over pancakes before serving.
Notes
Try adding sliced bananas or chopped nuts for extra flavor. Serve with whipped cream or fresh fruit for a delicious twist.
