- 2 ½ cups Rice Chex cereal
- ½ cup red candy melts
- ½ cup yellow candy melts
- ¼ cup bright white candy melts
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Melt the bright white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in short 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Pour ½ cup of Rice Chex cereal into the melted candy and coat well.
- Transfer the coated cereal to a zip-top bag, add ½ cup powdered sugar, and shake until coated evenly. Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined tray to dry.
- Repeat this process with the yellow and red candy melts, using 1 cup of Rice Chex cereal for each color.
- Once all colors are dry, mix the various colored cereals together in a large bowl.
Notes
Consider using dark chocolate melts for a healthier option. You can customize this recipe with different colored candy melts based on the occasion.
