Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed tea
  • ½ cup cherry juice (or fresh cherries, pitted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sugar (to taste)
  • ½ cup milk or a plant-based alternative
  • Ice cubes (for iced version, as needed)
  • Optional Garnish: Whipped cream, cherry, cinnamon, or cherry syrup (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup of your preferred tea. Allow it to cool slightly.
  2. If using cherry juice, warm it gently in a saucepan. If using fresh cherries, blend them into a puree, warm slightly, and stir in vanilla and honey/sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add the brewed tea to the cherry mixture and stir well. Choose to enjoy warm or chill for an iced version.
  4. Froth your milk to desired texture, then pour the cherry tea mix into a mug or over ice in a glass. Top with frothed milk and any optional garnishes.

Notes

For a nutty twist, you can use almond milk instead of regular milk. Adjust sweetness according to your preference.
