Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup brewed tea
- ½ cup cherry juice (or fresh cherries, pitted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp honey or sugar (to taste)
- ½ cup milk or a plant-based alternative
- Ice cubes (for iced version, as needed)
- Optional Garnish: Whipped cream, cherry, cinnamon, or cherry syrup (as desired)
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of your preferred tea. Allow it to cool slightly.
- If using cherry juice, warm it gently in a saucepan. If using fresh cherries, blend them into a puree, warm slightly, and stir in vanilla and honey/sugar until dissolved.
- Add the brewed tea to the cherry mixture and stir well. Choose to enjoy warm or chill for an iced version.
- Froth your milk to desired texture, then pour the cherry tea mix into a mug or over ice in a glass. Top with frothed milk and any optional garnishes.
Notes
For a nutty twist, you can use almond milk instead of regular milk. Adjust sweetness according to your preference.
