Ingredients

- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons chai tea blend or 1 chai tea bag
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or sweetener
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- A pinch of black pepper (optional)
- Cinnamon stick or star anise for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of coconut milk with 1 cup of water.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add 2 teaspoons of chai tea blend and the spices: 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom, and 1/4 teaspoon of cloves. Simmer for an additional 5–10 minutes.
- Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of honey or your sweetener of choice.
- If using loose tea, strain to remove tea leaves and pour the drink into your favorite mug.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and spice levels as per your preference. Can be served with snacks such as oatmeal cookies or banana bread.
