Delicious keto-friendly Cajun Boiled Eggs drizzled with a spicy garlic butter sauce, perfect for late-night snacking.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 Hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 1 stick Unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Sliced onions
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling the eggs to your preferred doneness (about 9 to 12 minutes). Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cover the pot and remove it from heat, allowing the eggs to sit for 9 to 12 minutes. Transfer them to an ice bath, cool, peel, and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add sliced onions and sauté until soft and fragrant (around 3 to 5 minutes). Stir in minced garlic, garlic paste, and all spices: Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Pour in vegetable broth and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Place peeled boiled eggs in a serving bowl and pour the hot spicy garlic butter sauce over them. Serve warm or chill for a refreshing treat later.

Notes

These eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
