Ingredients
Scale
- 6–8 Hard-boiled eggs, peeled
- 1 stick Unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Sliced onions
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1/4 cup Vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Start by boiling the eggs to your preferred doneness (about 9 to 12 minutes). Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cover the pot and remove it from heat, allowing the eggs to sit for 9 to 12 minutes. Transfer them to an ice bath, cool, peel, and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add sliced onions and sauté until soft and fragrant (around 3 to 5 minutes). Stir in minced garlic, garlic paste, and all spices: Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Pour in vegetable broth and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Place peeled boiled eggs in a serving bowl and pour the hot spicy garlic butter sauce over them. Serve warm or chill for a refreshing treat later.
