- 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Extra balsamic glaze for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat with breadcrumbs, onions, milk, ketchup, balsamic vinegar, egg, minced garlic, and salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Brush the top with balsamic glaze.
- Bake for approximately one hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for about ten minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve alongside seasonal vegetables or a green salad for a complete meal.
