Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting as desired.
