Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 75 grams crumbled feta cheese
- 30 ml olive oil or melted butter
- 30 grams dried cranberries
- 30 ml honey
- 1 gram ground cinnamon
- Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Prepare the pears:Brush the cut sides of the halved and cored pears with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
- Bake the pears:Place the pear halves cut-side up in the baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until they are tender but still hold their shape.
- Add toppings:Remove from oven and immediately top each pear with crumbled feta and dried cranberries. Drizzle generously with honey.
- Garnish and serve:Optionally, garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute feta with a vegan cheese that crumbles well. You can also add chopped nuts or pomegranate seeds for variation. Best served warm, but leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated.
