- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1 Large egg
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Melted butter
- 1 cup Diced apples
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the egg, milk, and melted butter until smooth and thoroughly combined.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed, careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the diced apples.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, and pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 to 3 minutes, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm topped with delicious maple syrup.
Notes
For variations, consider adding nuts or dried fruits, and serve with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
