- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- Additional Powdered Sugar for Dusting, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the almond extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.
- Form dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
These cookies can be frozen unbaked; just add a minute or two to the baking time if baking from frozen.
